Courtyard Lakehouse
Perched above the lake in Kinloch, this intergenerational holiday home was designed for H&B who wanted something a little different, “not another black box on the hill”. H&B envisioned a place to truly switch off, somewhere relaxed, modern, and unfussy, where time with family and friends could flow naturally. This is due to be completed in early 2026. More soon.
The brief called for generosity without excess: adaptable spaces that shift between solitude and entertaining; summer and winter; weekend escapes and longer stays. The site came with its challenges, prevailing winds, planning constraints, and the ever-present pull of the view. These became drivers for a courtyard based design.
This holiday home is deliberately informal but deeply considered. For H&B it provides a chance to change their daily rhythm of life: more downtime, more connection, and a stronger pull back to Kinloch.
